On December 5th, 2010, Ford Motor Company officially recognized PGI Far East Precision Products, a Gil-Mar joint venture, as one of their Q1 World-Wide suppliers.

PGI spent 8 months working with Ford Motor Company to gain their Q1 certification. The process culminated on December 5th when Joe Ruicci presented Jim Xu with the Q1 flag at their facility in Shanghai, China.
